CROATIAN EAGLES U7 2010-2011 SEASON INFORMATION

  1. Registration:  Deadline for the upcoming 2010-2011 season is June 1st  for a returning player to guarantee a team spot; then will remain open until the teams are full.  Received registration will be time stamped as we will not be accepting more than 16 children.  Registering for the team is a 2 season commitment.  Fall is mid August thru late October/ early November.  Spring is late March/early April thru mid June.  To guarantee registration, you must make a minimal payment of $125.  If you should chose to leave the program after registering, you will lose your deposit. 

 

  1. Fees:  The cost for the 2010-2011 season will be $450.  $125 will be due at registration time and another $125 will be due by June 28.  The remaining $200 will be due by October 5th.  However, we would like to encourage players to pay for the entire season at the time of registration.  Fees will be discounted $50 if the entire season is paid for at time of registration.  The $450 covers club, league, tournament, coaching, and uniform costs.  There is an additional family fee for every family with a child or multiple children in the club.  It is paid on-line separately at the club’s website www.croatianeaglessc.com.  This is paid under your oldest child in the club.  If you oldest child is U7, the fee is $75.  If your oldest child is older than U7, the fees are prorated by age and you should ask your oldest child’s manager the fee.  There is an additional $75 family fee for every family with a child or multiple children in the club.  There will be optional indoor soccer this winter.  Indoor soccer participation will have additional fees.  Indoor information will come by late October. 

 

  1. Fundraising:  Club soccer is expensive, and we are sensitive to this fact.  Our fees are competitive with other local clubs.  We traditionally hold 1 major fundraiser in November and then add in smaller opportunities as able.  Fundraised money can be directly applied towards your child’s fees.  Ideas and enthusiasm for fundraising is encouraged!

 

  1. Teams: Players will be placed on an age appropriate team.  U7 players should be born on/after August 1, 2003 and typically be going into 1st grade in fall.  Final assignments will be determined when final registrations are known.  U7 teams can carry a roster of 8 players.  There will be 2 teams maximum. 

 

 

 

  1. Paperwork:  All players should complete a WYSA form with registration and turn in with registration deposit.  All players will need to complete a liability form and medical release form in August when the updated version is released.  New players need to submit a birth certificate copy and photo at time of registration if not previously done.  See Mike or Kathy for the WYSA form, and hopefully soon we will get it up on-line at www.croatianeagles.com. 

 

  1. Schedule:  Practices – Wednesday, June 9th will be the last spring practice.  Optional summer practices will be on the following dates: June 21, June 28, July 12, and July 19 from 07:00 to 08:15 p.m. Fall season practices will start Tuesday, August 17.  Fall practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tournaments –We will participate in 3 local tournaments this fall (Waukesha 8/20-22, New Berlin 9/10-12, & Racine 10/9-10) and next spring will be determined at later date.  Games – Fall game schedule will be published by league in late August. 

 

  1. Coaching/Managing:  Steve Zawlocki will oversee the coaching/ managing of the teams. 

 

  1. Uniforms: We will order new sets for each player and an alternate t-shirt for August.  We will work to pick up some sample jerseys to demo during June.
